Mandate:
Mandate for the international committee as defined by Venstre’s board:
a. The international committee should contribute to Venstre’s profile concerning foreign policy through motions for political resolutions, internal education, and open meetings.
b. The international committee is responsible for initiating new democracy projects and should supply the board with suggested candidates for chairing such projects.
c. Any measures or meetings requring costs must be approved by the secretary general.
(Mandate in Norwegian:
a. IU skal bidra til at Venstre markerar seg på utanrikspolitiske spørsmål gjennom forslag til politiske fråsegner, skuleringstiltak og opne møter.
b. IU har ansvar for å ta initiativ ovanfor sentralstyret til å setja i gang nye demokratiseringsprosjekt og gje sentralstyret tips om aktuelle leiarkandidatar for slike prosjekt.
c. Tiltak/møter som medfører kostnader, skal avklarast og godkjennast av generalsekretæren.)
